Meet Our Team in Hanover

Dottie is the hospital manager. She has been in the Veterinary field since 2001 and became a part of the Aloha team in 2011. She grew up in Orange county, NY and moved to the Hanover area in 1997.

Dottie’s favorite part of Aloha is seeing all the friendly faces of our patients and clients. Being able to help clients reach their pet’s optimum health through communication and education is what makes her enjoy working at the front desk.

In her free time Dottie likes to shop (maybe too much) and travel to new and exciting places. She is happiest when spending time with her husband James and 3 Pomeranians Milo, Suki and Chloe.

Keirstan is our Technician Supervisor. She graduated from YTI Career Institute and began working at Aloha Animal Hospital in 2020. She’s the proud mom of a daughter who also loves animals! Her ever growing family includes her 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 ferrets, and 3 rats. She loves every aspect of working at Aloha but being a surgery technician is by far her favorite. With her pure and total love for all animals you can trust she will always do her very best to treat any animal with the same care she would have for her own.

Heather is a veterinary technician that began her career at Aloha in August 2013. While working at Aloha, she pursued her technical degree at YTI Career Institute and graduated in November 2014. Since graduation, Heather has become a CVT, evolved as a surgical technician, and received specialized training in animal dentistry. She also developed a keen interest and passion for the diagnostic and client education aspects of veterinary medicine.

When not at work, Heather and her husband are enjoying the rural life. Their family is comprised of 3 dogs, 2 goats, and 1 cat. In addition to caring for a “mini farm”, Heather and her husband enjoy woodworking projects, hiking with their dogs, and going to the beach.

Julie has been with Aloha Animal Hospital since September 2017. Before joining Aloha, Julie began her career in 1992 as a veterinary assistant and worked at several animal hospitals in the York area. She loves the challenge of the profession and working closely with our clients, educating them about preventative care for their beloved pets. In addition, Julie received a degree in fine arts and photography in 1984 and enjoys her time outside of work exploring the world with her husband and daughter with camera in hand.

Kynzie  started in the veterinary technician field in 2021. She graduated from YTI. Her love for animals extends far beyond the four wall of her home, to come take care of Alohas patients. She found her animal passion her sophomore year of high school. She loves all animals big and small and will treat your animals with just as much compassion as she has for her own. In her free time Kynzie enjoys spending time with her friends, her 6 cats, and hiking with her boyfriend.

Tara has worked at various vets around York county, including an emergency vet, since 2012. She started at Aloha in August of 2023. She loves being a part of the Aloha team and enjoys how friendly and compassionate everyone is. She also loves seeing and getting to know all the patients and their families! When not at work, her passion is being a football mom and spending time with her husband, 3 boys and their many pets.
